I am in the early stages of working on my latest teddy bear personality. I have trimmed all the seams, this is a laborious task, but one that is completely worth while. Trimming seams before sewing helps to give a bear a much nicer finished look. If any stray hairs do become entangled in the seams I pull them through before I run the all the pieces through my machine for a second time. I always stitch twice, the bear parts come under some pressure from turning and stuffing so it's a good way to ensure, form, shape, strength and durability. Before I get to the sewing part today, it's time to carefully pin my pattern pieces together.
Time to Pin.
